At CSM Metal Deck, it is our mission to provide high-quality metal decking for timely delivery. As a part of our mission, we have been upgrading our metal deck manufacturing facility to improve efficiency and add more products. Our newest addition to the facility is a top-of-the-line Deck Mill.
Our new Deck Mill, which is supplied by MetForm, is a major upgrade for our metal deck manufacturing facility. It will allow us to manufacture additional deck profiles, increase our production speed, and save on costs.
The benefit to our customers? A larger selection of products at a lower cost.
About Our Metal Deck Manufacturing Facility
Our manufacturing facility is made up of a large, 16,000 square foot warehouse, additional 5-acre yard space, and 15-ton overhead crane, all of which allow us to meet the storage demands of our large supply of metal deck.
New Product Offerings
Previously at CSM, we have manufactured metal roof deck, composite deck, and form deck.
Roof Deck
Metal roof deck is widely used in commercial and industrial construction projects. It is strong, lightweight and economical. Roof deck works for most types of structures, including pitched, flat and arched roofs.
We manufacture and stock B-Deck (Wide Rib, 1.5B, BI, BV, and BIV), F-Deck (Intermediate Rib, 1.5F), N-Deck (Deep Rib, 3N), 1″ Roof Deck (1.0C, HD) in 22, 20, 18, and 16 gauge.
Composite Deck
Composite metal floor deck has embossments designed to interlock with concrete slabs. The result: a concrete slab that serves the dual purpose of permanent form and positive reinforcement.
CSM Metal Deck stocks and manufactures 1 1/2″ Composite (1.5 VLI, 1.5 VL, CFD 1.5, LOK 1.5, B Formlok, 1.5 CF), 2″ Composite (2.0 VLI, CFD2, 2W Composite, 2″ Lok-Floor, W2 Formlok), and 3″ Composite (3.0 VLI, CFD3, 3W Composite, 3″ Lok-Floor, and W3 Formlok) Deck in 22, 20, 18, and 16 gauge.
Form Deck
Metal form deck is used extensively in floor construction. It serves as a permanent steel base for poured, reinforced concrete floor slabs. Installation is fast, easy and economical.
CSM Metal Deck stocks and manufactures 9/16″ Form Deck (0.6C, 0.6CSV, S Deck), 1″ Form Deck (1.0C, HD, CF 7/8″, HF, UF1X) , and 1 1/2″ Form Deck (1.5C, ISD 1-1/2″) in 22, 20, 18, and 16 gauge.
The Deck Mill uses “rafted” roll forming technology that allows the quick change-over to different profiles. The new equipment will give us the following production capabilities:
- B Deck (16 ga – 22 ga)
- 1 1/2″ Composite Deck (16 ga – 22 ga)
- 2″ Composite Deck (16 ga – 22 ga)
- 1″ Form Deck (20 ga – 26 ga)
- 9/16″ Form Deck (22 ga – 26 ga)
- 1 1/2″ Form Deck (16 ga – 22 ga)
These additional deck profiles will allow us to meet the needs of a greater range of projects.
